VACANCY: (TRAINEE) EUROPEAN AND/OR DUTCH PATENT ATTORNEY CHEMICAL - SITTARD
We are seeking to recruit a chemical patent attorney or a trainee with a good degree in (bio)chemistry, life sciences or similar.

Requirements for an Experienced Chemical Patent Attorney: Candidates are expected to be able to manage all aspects of patent drafting and prosecution, they should have good language capabilities and good communication skills. Candidates should have a pro-active, business-oriented working attitude. They have to have a keen chemical interest, are driven by curiosity and show commitment. Candidates should be able to work with external parties and are willing to join our entrepreneurial IP team. We are looking for a team player. Requirements for a Trainee Chemical Patent Attorney: We are looking for reliable and personable candidates with strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to pick up complex technical ideas quickly, and an attention to detail. We are looking for a team player. For this position, applicants should ideally have a good degree in (bio)chemistry, life sciences or similar. A reasonable level of knowledge of computer software would be an advantage. The successful candidate will initially assist a patent attorney in our firm with a wide range of patent attorney work and gradually gain responsibility as their knowledge and experience grows. A high standard of training will be provided, as well as support in preparing for the Dutch and European qualifying examinations.
